Agreement

By creating a Makao Connect account or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Service

Makao Connect provides software to manage hotspot and subscriber internet businesses, including customer records, package management, MikroTik integration, and payment workflows. Features may change as we improve the product.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate account and billing information.
• Secure your login credentials and router API access.
• Comply with applicable laws, including telecom and data regulations in Kenya.
• Ensure you have rights to process end-customer data you upload to Makao.

Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans renew monthly unless cancelled. Trial access ends after the stated trial period unless you subscribe. Plan limits (routers, customers, staff) apply per your selected tier. Downgrades may require reducing usage to fit new limits.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other tenants, or use Makao for unlawful activity. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or pose security risk.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages (M-Pesa, MikroTik, hosting), or factors outside our control may affect access.

Limitation of liability

Makao Connect is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost revenue, or issues arising from your network equipment, payment providers, or end-customer disputes.
