How long does setup take?

Do I need a MikroTik router?

Yes. Makao Connect syncs with MikroTik RouterOS via the API. You can explore the dashboard during trial and connect when ready.

Can customers pay with M-Pesa?

Yes. Guests approve an STK push on your captive portal. Customer WiFi payments go to your M-Pesa via Buni — Makao does not hold customer funds.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from Billing. Changes apply on your next billing cycle.

Do I need networking experience?

No. Makao guides you through router connection, packages, and portal setup step by step.

How do I cancel?

Cancel from Billing anytime. You keep access until the end of your paid period.

Does Makao collect customer payments?

Customer WiFi payments go directly to your M-Pesa. Makao Connect does not hold customer funds.

What happens after the trial?

Choose a plan and pay via M-Pesa to keep managing customers, routers, and payments.
